Amanda was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for a realtor work with, and I looked over at her Yelp reviews, and decided to contact her. This was my fiancé and I’s first time ever purchasing a house, and Amanda went through the whole process with us and started sending us homes to consider within search criteria of budget, square footage, bedrooms/bathrooms, etc. We started looking for houses in February 2016, mainly in San Fernando Valley, as well as, Simi Valley and Santa Clarita area. We weren’t sure if we’d be able to find a house within our budget and the square footage we were looking for. Most of the houses in SFV were very expensive, old (most built in the 1950s/1960s and never renovated), and had little to no square footage, unless your budget was 700K+, and that was way over our budget. During our quest to find the perfect house, we had stopped looking at Simi Valley & Santa Clarita due to commute time, but soon after I got an email alert on my phone and happened to browse through the houses and one house that really caught my eye just went on the market in Santa Clarita and I sent it to Amanda right away. She looked at the listing, and figured out she knew the selling realtors, and had worked with them before at a different Pinnacle office, which was pure luck. That weekend we went to the open house, and we fell in love with it, however tons of other people showed up and had their eyes set on the house as well. In turn, we didn’t think our offer would be accepted if there were going to be multiple offers on the house. But since Amanda knew the selling realtors, we had a little bit of an edge over the other prospective home buyers, and we put in our offer on Tuesday. Our offer was accepted, and we opened escrow 3 days later, and closed escrow at the end of March.
Amanda was extremely helpful throughout the whole process as a first-time home buyer, and is an excellent realtor to work with. She was always prompt at answering her phone, emails, and texts whenever we had questions, or she had information to give us. Amanda’s other work associate at Pinnacle, Tamara Tambe, was also very helpful when Amanda couldn’t make it because she lived close by to the house we were purchasing. At the time we opened escrow, Amanda had been very overloaded with work since, ourselves and many of her other clients were in the process of purchasing houses at the same exact time. Amanda is a very hard working real estate agent, and she truly cares about her clients, and their needs. I highly recommend her for your next home purchase, or if you need your house to be sold.
